A different approach to yoga
"Life is no brief candle for me. It is a sort of splendid torch which I have got hold of for the moment, and I want to make it burn as brightly as possible before handing it on to future generations."
--George Bernard Shaw
Lydia's approach to prenatal yoga enables mothers to tune into that innate wisdom that all women posses inside them, and trust it to lead them through birth in the best possible way for their own body. By incorporating the practice of yoga into our daily lives we are on so many levels laying claim to the fact that the responsibility for our own health and the health of our children's lives is in our hands. This gives us the freedom to make choices that will pave the way for a more holistic, healthy, and above all happy life from the moment of conception through childhood and beyond.
Lydia's classes are peppered with little tips that will help mothers on their journey through pregnancy, also new mums as they embark on this sometimes overwhelming new chapter in their lives and give children the tools they need to develop their confidence and imaginations so that they can create their own fun.
Lydia is a fully qualified perinatal yoga teacher accredited by Embody and is an associate member of Trust in Birth.
